有子与(yu)子游立,见(jian)孺子慕者。有子谓子(zi)游曰:"予壹不(bu)知(zhi)夫丧之踊(yong)也,予欲 去之久矣。情(qing)在于(yu)斯,其是(shi)也夫?"子(zi)游曰:"礼(li)有(you)微情者(zhe),有(you)以(yi)故兴物(wu)者。有 直情而径行(hang)者,戎狄(di)之道(dao)也。礼道(dao)则不然,人喜(xi)则斯陶(tao),陶斯咏,咏斯犹,犹斯 舞,舞斯愠(yun),愠斯戚,戚(qi)斯(si)叹,叹(tan)斯辟(pi),辟斯踊矣(yi),品节斯(si),斯之(zhi)谓(wei)礼。人死, 斯恶(e)之(zhi)矣,无能也,斯倍之矣。是(shi)故(gu)制绞衾,设蒌(lou)た,为使人勿恶也。始死,脯 醢之奠,将行(hang),遣而行之(zhi),既葬而食之,未有见其飨之(zhi)者(zhe)也,自上(shang)世以来(lai),未之(zhi) 有舍也,为使人勿(wu)倍(bei)也。故(gu)子(zi)之所刺(ci)于(yu)礼者,亦非礼(li)之(zhi)訾也。"
