夫(fu)祭之为物(wu)大矣,其兴物(wu)备矣,顺(shun)以备(bei)者也(ye),其教之本与?是故,君子之(zhi)教 也(ye),外则教之以尊其君长,内则教之以孝于(yu)其亲。是故(gu),明君在上,则诸臣服(fu)从, 崇(chong)事宗庙(miao)社稷,则子孙(sun)顺孝。尽其道,端(duan)其义(yi),而教生焉。是(shi)故君子(zi)之事君也, 必身(shen)行(hang)之,所不安(an)于上(shang),则不以使(shi)下;所恶于下(xia),则(ze)不(bu)以事(shi)上;非诸(zhu)人,行诸(zhu)己, 非教之(zhi)道也。是故(gu)君(jun1)子之(zhi)教(jiao)也,必由其本,顺之至也,祭其是(shi)与?故曰:"祭(ji)者, 孝(xiao)之(zhi)本也(ye)已。"
