是故(gu)君子(zi)先慎(shen)乎德。有德此有人,有(you)人此(ci)有(you)土,有(you)土此有财(cai),有财此有用。德(de)者本也,财者末也。外本内末,争(zheng)民施夺。是故(gu)财聚则民(min)散,财散则民(min)聚。是故(gu)言(yan)悖而(er)出者,亦(yi)悖而入;货(huo)悖而入(ru)者,亦悖(bei)而出。《康诰》曰:"惟命不(bu)于常。"道善则得之,不(bu)善(shan)则失之矣。《楚书》曰:"楚国(guo)无以为宝,惟(wei)善以(yi)为宝。"舅犯曰(yue):"亡人(ren)无以为宝(bao),仁亲以为(wei)宝。"《秦誓》曰:"若有一(yi)个臣,断断(duan)兮(xi)无他技,其心休休(xiu)焉,其如有容焉。人之(zhi)有技(ji),若己有之;人之彦圣,其(qi)心好之,不啻(chi)若自其(qi)口出(chu)。实能容之,以能(neng)保我子(zi)孙黎民,尚亦有利哉!人(ren)之有(you)技,娼疾以恶之;人(ren)之彦(yan)圣,而违(wei)之俾不(bu)通。实不(bu)能容,以不能(neng)保我子孙黎民(min),亦曰殆(dai)哉!"唯仁人放流之,迸诸四夷,不与同(tong)中(zhong)国。此谓(wei)唯(wei)仁(ren)人为能(neng)爱人(ren),能恶(e)人。见贤(xian)而不(bu)能举(ju),举而(er)不(bu)能先,命也;见(jian)不善而不能(neng)退,退(tui)而不能远(yuan),过(guo)也。好人之(zhi)所恶(e),恶人之所好(hao),是(shi)谓拂人之性,灾必逮夫身。是(shi)故君(jun1)子有大道(dao),必(bi)忠信以得(de)之,骄泰(tai)以失(shi)之。
