所谓(wei)平天(tian)下(xia)在治其国者,上老老(lao)而民(min)兴孝,上长(zhang)长(zhang)而(er)民兴悌,上恤孤而民(min)不倍,是以(yi)君子有褰矩之道(dao)也。所恶(e)于上,毋以使下;所恶于下,毋以事(shi)上(shang);所恶于前(qian),毋(wu)以先(xian)后;所恶于后,毋以从前(qian);所恶于(yu)右(you),毋以交于左;所(suo)恶于左,毋(wu)以交于右。此之谓褰矩(ju)之(zhi)道(dao)。《诗》云:"乐(le)只君(jun1)子,民之父母。"民(min)之所好好之,民之所恶恶之,此(ci)之谓民(min)之(zhi)父母(mu)。《诗》云:"节(jie)彼南(nan)山(shan),维石岩岩。赫赫师尹(yin),民(min)具尔瞻。"有国者不可以不慎,辟则为无下(xia)矣。《诗》云:"殷之未丧师,克配上帝。仪监(jian)于(yu)殷,峻命不易。"道得(de)众则得国,失(shi)众(zhong)则失(shi)国。
